activity is carried out through a uniquely
decentralized Crew Management System.
We are committed to develop and maintain a
sufficient pool of qualified marine officers and
ratings to meet our customers' requirements.
It is for this particular reason that we
established a separate recruitment section,
which sources, screens and conducts a
preliminary interview with all the applicants.
Once pre-selected, candidates are given to the
Personnel Manager for further evaluation and
recommended to Principals for final approval.
Our Recruitment Advantage
ORAS (On-line Recruiting Application
System) - Job advertisements and receive
seafarers applications through the on-line. We
participate in on-off line recruitment drives
for a more varied search for the right and
qualified applicants to both satisfying
Principals and Managements.
Pre-Screening - Pre-selection of
candidates based on their submitted
applications, which are encoded in the computer
for utilize data bank.
Interviews and trade tests - Selected
candidates are interviewed by the Personnel
Manager, for land-based recruitment. Interviewees are required
to take a trade test as well as an English test.
Background Checks – In accordance with our
quality assurance standard, we check the
veracity of the information supplied by the
candidates by calling our networks.
